OSIMHEN HAS ‘ONE EYE’ ON RED DEVILS

As Victor Osimhen continues to grow as one of Europe’s hottest prospects, it’s been reported that the Nigerian star favours a move to English giants Manchester United.

The Napoli forward is currently enjoying one of his best seasons to date, having netted 25 goals in 29 games in the 2022/23 campaign.

Osimhen’s red hot form has summoned a number of Europe’s top clubs to keep tabs on his situation in Naples, with the Red Devils believed to be the desired destination.

According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Osimhen was close to joining United a couple of years ago and that he now has one eye on joining the Premier League giants.

“When you sign a player and invest a big fee, which is what Napoli did, they want a financial return if they’re to let the player go,” Jacobs said, as per Team Talk.

“But Osimhen dreams of the Premier League. And I think Manchester United is more likely than Chelsea at this point because Osimhen’s always had one eye on Manchester United.

“He actually nearly joined them before moving to Napoli, but didn’t because he wasn’t convinced he’d get the game time.”
