Renowned agent, Andrea D’Amico has hailed Nigerian star Victor Osimhen as the best striker in the world.

The Italian also stated that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will go all out to secure the services of the Napoli striker if Lionel Messi leaves the French giants for the Major League Soccer (MLS) at the end of this season.

D’Amico believes that Osimhen is better than Manchetser City marksman Erling Haaland who is considered by some to be the best out-and-out striker in the world.

“Right now, he is the best striker in the world, even better than Haaland. But assessments regarding the market will be made in the summer,” D’Amico said on Football Italia.

“I think he won’t lack options, especially in England even if PSG can’t be underestimated, because they could lose an important player in attack. I think Messi will go to Miami, but this is only my feeling.”

The 24-year-old has also been linked with Premier League clubs Manchester United and Chelsea FC as well as Paris Saint-Germain.

His contract with Napoli will expire in 2025 having joined the club from French side OSC Lille for a club-record fee of €70 million.
