Chelsea right wing-back, Ola Aina, may have warmed himself into the Super Eagles team, following his convincing exploits during his first training session with the Super Eagles team on Sunday in London.
The ex-England U20 international had his first training session with the Nigerian national team on Sunday, with his proud father watching from the sidelines.
Inside camp sources confirmed yesterday that the Chelsea youth player, who was one of the three England based players with Nigerian parentage that were surprisingly drafted to the Eagles camp by Coach Rohr was able to prove before the coaches that he is a good material, especially as the Coach continues his search for new defenders.
Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr, was known to be in the hunt for a typical right back ahead of his team’s first competitive game of 2017, which includes the African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa in June, and the back-to- back Russia 2018 world cup qualifiers against Cameroon in August, and the German may has found two in Ebuehi and Aina.
Aina was further assessed by Rohr on Monday evening at the Hive Stadium, when the Super Eagles took part in a practice game among themselves, fol.lowing the cancellation of the friendly against Burkina Faso.
