 The Community Media Practioners Association condemns killing of Nigerians and other black Africans in South Africa. The newly elected President Mr. Tayo Adenirola while speaking on behalf of compass condemned the killing of Nigerians and black Africans in South Africa, Mr. Tayo heap the blame on the slow reaction of both South Africa and Nigeria governments on the lingering xenophobic attack on Nigerians and other black Africans.

Aderinola noted that "it's unfortunate that the xenophobic attack on Nigerians and other black Africans have lasted over 5 years without both government doing enough to stem the violent killings in South Africa. And asked the African Union to intervene and address the issue before it degenerate further.
